Pack of 10 brolly type cavity anchors for plasterboard/ hollow wall fixing. This type of fixing is stronger than the plasterboard itself, as it telescopes down and grips the back of the plasterboard when you tighten the screw, and is the fixing you should use when fixing anything heavy to plasterboard, or when fixing anything which generates vibration such as a fan; or when fixing anything which people could lean on such as a radiator. They are easier to install with the correct tool (see our E-bay shop) as some force is needed to telescope the anchor, but there is a way of doing it with 2 screwdrivers, using one as a fulcrum and the second one as a lever under the screw head. NB make sure the spikes on the back of the wide portion of the anchor body are completely embedded in the plasterboard before trying to tighten the screw, or the whole anchor may just spin.
Size 5 x 37mm, M5 threaded screws with combination head so you can use either Phillips, Pozi or slotted screwdrivers to tighten them; length of body 37mm, length of screw 47mm, hole to pre-drill in the plasterboard 10mm. This size is for single plasterboard.
